Roll-formed pallet racking systems are primarily constructed from high-strength cold-rolled steel to balance structural integrity with cost-effectiveness. The selection of material depends on the load requirements and environmental conditions of the warehouse.
Primary Materials:
Cold-Rolled Carbon Steel: The industry standard, typically Q235B (equivalent to ASTM A36 / SS400) for general use, and Q355B (equivalent to ASTM A572 Gr50 / S355JR) for heavy-duty applications requiring higher tensile strength.
Galvanized Steel: SGH340 or S350GD with Zinc (Z80-Z275) or Zinc-Aluminum-Magnesium (Zn-Al-Mg) coatings, used for corrosion resistance in cold storage, humid, or outdoor environments.
Pre-painted Steel: Used for specific retail or light-duty shelving where aesthetics are required.
Load capacity depends on steel grade, profile section, thickness, and beam spacing. Typically our heavy-duty roll-formed systems are engineered for 1000–4500 kg (2200–9900 lbs) per beam level and up to 10–15 tons per bay. All designs are calculated per RMI / FEM 10.2.02 / AS4084 standards and a signed load plaque is provided.
Yes. We offer full customization—C/U/Z upright profiles, step beams or box beams, hole pitch (standard 50mm/75mm/76.2mm teardrop), material thickness (1.2–3.0mm), and cut-to-length. We can also replicate your existing racking hole pattern for compatibility.
Standard material is high-tensile galvanized steel (Q235B/Q355B, SGH340) or upon request. Surface treatments include electrostatic powder coating (usually RAL5005 blue / RAL7035 orange), hot-dip galvanizing for cold stores or humid environments, and pre-galvanized finish.
For standard profiles, lead time is normally 15–25 days after deposit confirmation. MOQ is typically one 20ft container (~8–15 tons), though this can be discussed for trial orders. Samples can be arranged prior to bulk production.
Yes. Our roll-formed racking components are designed and tested in accordance with RMI (USA), FEM 10.2.02 (EU), AS 4084 (Australia), or GB/T standards (China) upon request. Mill test certificates and load calculation reports are available.
Absolutely. Our uprights and beams are designed to accept standard wire mesh decks, row spacers, anchor bolts, baseplate shims, upright protectors, and back-to-back ties from most major racking systems.
Uprights must be anchored to a minimum 100–150mm thick concrete floor using expansion anchor bolts (supplied). Beam connectors lock into upright holes with safety pins/clips. We recommend professional installation and provide assembly drawings and anchoring guidelines.
Yes. The modular design allows you to add more frames/bays, adjust beam levels in 50mm/75mm increments, or change beam spans without replacing existing components.
We are looking forward to working with you. Please feel free to contact us if you have any inquiry.
